Pervez Rashid, Information Minister of Pakistan demanded the probe against former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf and Cricketer-turned politician, Imran Khan and suspected that they could be RAW agents – a charge that not only seems implausible but also outrageous.
According to the news published in Zee News, Rashid also demanded that role of all those politicians who supported Pervez Musharraf should be probed.
He also demanded to include the alleged links of MQM with RAW. Rashid’s statement came after MQM Mayor of Karachi, Mustafa Kamal alleged that MQM President, Altaf Hussain had links with the Indian spies.
Rashid also added that the Interior Minister of Pakistan has constituted a committee on the statements made by Karachi-based businessman, Sarfraz Merchant. If Mr. Mustafa Kamal has any evidence, he should present it to the enquiry committee.
It may be mentioned that the said businessman believes that Mr. Pervez Musharraf, was the architect of the Kargil War in 1999 and Mr. Imran Khan was vociferous in taking hard stand against India, especially on Kashmir issue.
