Tirumalayapalem , April 16: A man killed his wife, mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and finally ended his life by consuming pesticide in his house.
According to Urban Superintendent of Police P. Umapati, the incident took place in Tirumalayapalem village of Gokavaram mandal in the early hours of Friday.
K.V.V. Satyanarayana (50) of Pidatamamidi village had been involved in a dispute with his wife Varalakshmi (45) for the past few months. Varalakshmi had left her husband and was staying in her mother’s house along with her sisters.
On Thursday night, Satyanarayana went to Tirumalayapalem and confronted Varalakshmi and her mother M. Gangaratnam. . After a heated argument, Satyanarayana killed his wife mother-in-law and Varalakshmi’s elder sisters Grandhi Mangatayaru and Imidisetty Seetha with a knife.
