Hyderabad: Those who sell gold in emergency situations will now get only Rs. 10000 net after 1st April onwards. This includes one of the amendments made by Central Govt. in Finance Bill. The remaining amount would be credited to the bank accounts of the sellers.
As per the present rules, those who sell gold were getting Rs. 20000 net which has now been reduced to Rs. 10000.
The gold traders say that if 5 persons of a family approach the gold merchant with 20 grams of gold per head and if they get separate amounts, in such a case nothing can be done. This new rule will affect gold business.
