People disillusioned with Chandrababu: Mekapati

Hyderabad: Hoisting party flag on the occasion of sixth foundation day of YSRCP at the party headquarters at Lotus Pond here on Saturday, senior leader and MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy charged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with duping the people. He said the people were disillusioned with his performance.
Speaking on the occasion, Mekapati said Chandrababu talks tall, but does a little.
On the defection of his party MLAs to the ruling TDP, Mekapati said they were regretting their decision to change the party. People would not appreciate the turncoats as ethics was important in public life. Clarifying that the YSRCP would lose nothing, Mekapati felt his party would have bright future if the cadre and leaders clearly explain about the party programs to the people.
Recalling that Chandrababu Naidu had announced that a new capital will be located at Nujiveedu, later at Nagarjuna University, but finally announced that Amaravathi will be the new capital of Andhra Pradesh after the TDP leaders procuring lands around Amaravathi, he added.
MLA R.K. Roja said the party was inspired by the life and works of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. She party supremo Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was working for the welfare of the party. (NSS)
