Patna, April 09: LJP president Ramvilas Paswan today called for immediate disbanding of Mahadalit Commission constituted by Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar.
“The formation of the Mahadalit commission is unconstiutional and it should be disbanded immediately,” Paswan told reporters after addressing a sit-in demonstration by the sweepers of Patna Municipal Corporation.
He said even the National SC Commission Chairman Buta Singh had dubbed the commission as “unconstitutional” and the state government had the Constitutional obligation to follow the SC Commission’s decision.
He also alleged that the Mahadalit Commission chairman K P Ramaiah was working as a leader of a political party and demanded his removal.
Paswan said his party would continue its agitation seeking disbanding of the Mahadalit commission in Bihar.
