Kuala Lumpur, August 06: Please come and claim your babies within 30 days or they will be put up for adoption.
The district welfare department here is trying to locate the parents of these three babies allegedly abandoned after being delivered at a government hospital and a private clinic near here.
If the biological parents cannot be traced within 30 days, the babies would be put up for adoption, said Central Seberang Prai district welfare department child protector Mohamad Zarir Mohamad Khozali.
The babies are Muhammad Muaz, a baby boy delivered at a private clinic in Juru near here on April 14; and two baby girls born at the Seberang Jaya Hospital on April 16 and June 30.
Muhammad Muaz’s mother is believed to be a Myanmar national who left the hospital immediately after the delivery.
Mohamad Zarir said the mother of the baby born on April 16, an Indonesian known only as Retno Asih, went missing from the hospital four days after delivery.
The mother of the baby girl born on June 30 disappeared two weeks after giving birth.
Her name is Zainab Wa Daud, 26, and her last known address was 12B, Kampung Ulu Tawar, Baling, Kedah.
Mohamad Zarir urged the public with information on the parents of the babies to call the district welfare officer.
