Giving fillip to medical education in Telangana State, the government was constructing a Medical College in Mahabubnagar district.
Health & Medical Education Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy today directed his department officials to construct the medical college as a role model to other colleges with all latest facilities. At a meeting here, he has gone through the model and design of the medical colleges and made some suggestions to be taken up. The medical college building should be built in such a way that it has to provide ample space to various departments, better facilities to all and improved accommodation to medical students, he maintained.
The latest changes should be made with a focus on quality of works without any delay. Once the changes are made to the existing design, it will be taken to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for approval. KCR may also make some changes in the design, layout of the new medical college building, he added. (NSS)
