“I am ISI agent, want to quit and share information” – Pakistani man tells Delhi airport officials

New Delhi: A man, who took a flight from Dubai to Delhi, informed the airport staff that he is an ISI agent and doesn’t want to work anymore. Following which he was taken for interrogation to an undisclosed location by the officials.

He was identified as Muhammad Ahmad Sheikh Muhammad Rafiq, a Pakistani passport holder as per a news report by HT.

He reached the helpdesk and told the female staffer, “Hello, I am an ISI agent. But I don’t wish to continue any further and want to remain in India”, on Friday after arriving on an Air India flight from Dubai.

The information was soon conveyed to the intelligence and they were alerted at terminal 3. Officials checked his passport to trace his travelling details in the past few months.

“Instead of heading towards transfer area, from where he had to catch a flight to Kathmandu, he approached the helpdesk. He said that he is an ISI agent and doesn’t want to work anymore. Security agencies and Intelligence Bureau officials were informed and they are interrogating him,” an airport source reported.
