Govt. of Telangana is facing the wrath of Osmania University students. They have decided to celebrate 2nd June as the dark day by boycotting Telangana’s first anniversary. OU students have started campaign against the decision of the Govt. of Telangana for acquiring 11 acres of OU land for the construction of houses for weaker section. These students have the support of Congress and BJP. The announcement of boycott by the students is creating problems for the Govt. Intelligence Agencies are vigilant about any disturbances which the students might do. Police have made elaborate arrangements at Parade Ground. Special attention is also being paid at district Headquarters where Telangana Formation Day Celebrations are being held. Every care has been taken to deal with any disturbances by the students. OU students contend that the promises made by TRS during elections should be implemented which the Govt. is deviating.
