Hyderabad, July 13: Students on fast unto death at Osmania University campus have appealed to shut down all educational institutions in Telangana. Staging a weird protest the students shaved off their heads to send a message to central and state governments that the protest would be continued till Telangana formation. In the agitation continued at Arts College premises the students strongly condemned the governments’ adamant attitude and demanded withdrawal of police forces from the campus. To intensify the movement students of Osmania University have appealed to close all educational institutions on July 13.
Meanwhile Telangana Vidhyarthi Ekta Vedika announced that on July 13 they will send a letter written with their blood to the central government especially to Sonia Gandhi and said that letter through blood programme will be launched on 11 am.
Osmania university students Joint Action Committee urged the police to leave Osmania University campus premises. Students JAC told that their fight is not with the police but they are demanding the government to pass Telangana bill in the parliament. Meanwhile students have decided that they will shave their heads and present the hair to Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath.
