The Role
Our Global client is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for providing accurate, timely accounting information to assist decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Complete account reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain financial schedules and ledgers in compliance with company policies and procedures, preparing a trial balance and management reports; reconciling entries; monthly analysis of the Financial Statements
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures for both domestic and international divisions
• Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes
• Support the completion of financial statement audits
• Produces payroll by initiating computer processing
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary
Requirements
• 7 – 10 significant experience within a similar role
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Knowledge of financial procedures and processes and familiarity with the use of management information systems for financial management
• Good working knowledge and previous experience in using accounting packages
• Proficient working knowledge and experience of using Excel at advanced level
• Keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
• A systematic and organized approach with an ability to follow things through
• Fluency in written and spoken English
