Survey on marriage, divorce among Muslims in 3 languages

Hyderabad: The hearing of “Triple Talaq and Polygamy among Muslims” case in Supreme Court is scheduled on 11-May-2017. Many misconception s are being spread about Muslim marriages, divorce and family relationships with out proper data and proof.

It has been observed that there is no comprehensive study or survey to understand the actual reality with regard to the subject.

A survey is being conducted by “Center for Research and Debates in Development Policy (CRDDP)” on Muslim marriages, divorce, oral triple talaq and family relationships.

CRDDP is headed by Abu Saleh Shariff, former member secretary with the Sachar Committee Report (released in 2006).

“Many misleading surveys have been done in the past to misrepresent the Muslim community” as said by Centre’s city-based research assistant, Syed Khalid Saifullah.

In order to counter such surveys,request all to participate in this Survey and provide their opinion on these issues. 17,000 people have participated in survey till now and survey will be open for next 7 days.
