The Role
? Attends to repairs and maintenance of all various electrical systems of the Club.
? Responsible for servicing and attending to repairs on various types of electrical equipment such as, heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, water treatment plant and electricity generators.
? Installs and modifies electrical systems and equipment in accordance with established codes and standards.
? Ensure that any incomplete repair of electrical fault’s that are likely to cause an accident are isolated and such “hazards” are left in a completely safe condition with the appropriate warning notices attached.
? To assist in the servicing and repair of various types of electrical equipment for Kitchen and Laundry when requested to do so.
? Attends to preventative maintenance of electrical panels/equipment.
? Operates audio, video and TV equipment for special functions as and when requested.
? To ensure that any burnt out light bulbs are replaced immediately.
? Advises on improvements to present electrical systems.
? Carries out fire alarm test as required
? Participates in Club Energy Conservation Program.
? Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and Club Policies.
? Align working practices; consistently strive to meet and exceed expectations of both internal and external guests
? Responsible to report any potential hazard noted when on duty
? Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
Requirements
Essential: The candidate must have High School Diploma and Electrician Trade certificate. Minimum 3 years in the same position and must have the following:
• Good command in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System
• Team player
Desirable: The candidate must have any other technical qualifications with High School Diploma, preferably with experience in hospitality environment maintenance and installation
