Islamabad, April 06: Nabi Bux Baloch, a noted Pakistani historian who had studied at Aligarh Muslim University, is dead. He was 94, a media report said Wednesday.
Baloch died in Hyderabad. He is survivied by five sons and three daughters, Geo TV reported.
He was a scholar of Sindhi, Persian, Arabic and Urdu languages and authored a number of books on Sindh’s history and 42 volumes on Sindhi folklore. He also compiled a Sindhi dictionary in five volumes.
Baloch did his Bachelor’s degree from Bombay University, now University of Mumbai, and he got his Master’s degree and LLB from Aligarh Muslim University.
