Haryana Education Minister today Geeta Bhukkal said no woman employee would be deployed on duty as watchman during night in schools. She said keeping in view the safety of women, under outsourcing policy male employees would be assigned the duty of watchman. She said summer vacations would commence in government schools from June 1 and for the better utilisation of time, summer camps would be organised in the schools.
During the vacations, along with special classes of science and commerce, hobby classes would also be organised, she added. She said from the current session, the classes of Haryana State Teacher Training Institute would start in Jhajjar. This was an innovative measure taken by the government to prepare quality teachers. Also, from the month of August in the current session, classes of State Level Teacher Training Institute would be held at campus of model school managed by Jhajjar Education Society. UNI
