Hyderabad: Injustice is being continued in Telangana State whereas Urdu has been accorded the status of second official language. The attention of the Govt. is continuously being invited for non-inclusion of Urdu in the logos of various departments.
CM of Telangana, Mr. KCR made announcements repeatedly that every step would be taken for the promotion of Urdu in the State. In April, Mr. M. Mahendra Reddy, Transport Minister released the logo of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation but Urdu was not found in it. The Minister’s attention was invited for this and he assured that Urdu would be included in the logo of TSRTC but so far, it was not done. Recently the logo of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation was released but Urdu was not included in its logo. When Siasat Urdu Daily invited the attention of Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana, he instructed the officials to include in its logo.
Mr. M. A. Raoof Khan, President and Mr. Mohammed Saleemuddin, General Secretary of Telangana Minorities Welfare Sangam wrote a letter to Joint Managing Director of TSRTC demanding to include Urdu in its logo. A memorandum was also given to Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali to ensure the inclusion of Urdu in the logo of TSRTC.
