IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that a new policy will be introduced to help physically challenged to get jobs through training and to launch programs through TASK for their training and skills. He also offered all help and cooperation to the institutions working for similar motto. Inaugurating E Info Media Call Center at Begumpet, whose head office is located at Bengaluru, the minister said that the government will extend support and give special incentives to such companies or institutions if they take up programs in Warangal and other second rung cities and district head quarters in this regard. There are several IT companies ready to take physically challenged persons with skills and training to fit their requirements he said adding that TASK will offer training to them for jobs. The Minister exuded confidence that the physically challenged are second to none if required training and skills are offered. KTR was taken by surprise by speaking to one Sultana a staffer of the call center for stating that they will vie with others and only need training and job and not any exemptions. The Centre is specifically giving training and skills to the physically challenged he said and felicitated Ashok Giri and his family for their services towards physically challenged for over a decade.
