Srinagar, November 08: Launching a scathing attack on the National Conference, separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani today accused the party of selling the interest of Kashmiris for clinging to power in the state.
National Conference founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah sold the interest of Kashmiris for the sake of power, he told a seminar organised by the Muslim League here.
This was the biggest act of “deceit” on the part of the NC leader, said the Chairman of the hardline faction of the Hurriyat Conference.
“The NC founder is responsible for the plight of Kashmiris. Our agonies and tragedies came to us in form of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. He took a wrong decision and we are bearing its brunt.
