Nayani inaugurates Command Control Room at Kondapur

Hyderabad: Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Monday inaugurated Command Control Room of the 8th Battalion at Kondapur. The state-of-the-art building was built at a cost of Rs 4.3 crore and is equipped with sophisticated equipment.

Speaking on the occasion, Narsimha Reddy said that the State Government has taken up a slew of measures to upgrade the police force and make a overhaul of the policing system in the state. He said that the state government was allocating massive funds for upgrading facilities to police across the state. He appreciated the police role in maintaining law and order in the state and bringing down the crime rate.

Speaking on the occasion, DGP Anurag Sharma said that the state government was giving utmost importance for the welfare of the police personnel and has brought in various initiatives in this regard. He said that the new measures and reforms in the police force have changed the image of police not only in the state but across the nation. (INN)
