Naidu meets Komamura Corpn chief on final day

Hyderabad, July 10: On his final day of Japan visit, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Nadu met with the officials of Komamura Corporation.

The company operates in the optics space and manufactures view/technical cameras, pro-digital photo equipment, pro-broadcasting equipment that are useful in rescue operations during disasters on land and the sea at night.
President of the company Toshiyuki Komamura explained to the Chief Minister that they are interested in making the lenses and cameras in India. “We will explore the possibilities of setting up in Andhra Pradesh and export our equipment to other parts of the world from AP,” he added.

Explaining the advantages of having a long coastline on the East, the Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh has the potential to become the logistics hub of South East Asia. He invited the company to visit Andhra Pradesh and explore the facilities available in the State. After his return this evening, the Chief Minister will be meeting Union Ministers in the national capital on Friday.

AP ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and P. Narayana, Advisor (Communications) Dr Parakala Prabhakar, principal secretaries P.V. Ramesh, S.S. Rawat, Ajay Jain, CRDA CEO Srikanth and other officials were present in the meeting. (NSS)
