Hyderabad, December 25: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu who ended his eight-day fast was expected to be discharged from Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) this evening.
The five-meber team of doctors who examined Mr Naidu in the ICU reviewed his health condidition in the afternoon before deciding on discharging him.
The condition of the former Chief Minister was found to be stable after he was forcibly administered intravenous fluids by the doctors.
Mr Naidu had called off the fast last evening after national leaders from about ten polical parties visited him in the hospital and persuaded him to do so as his life was at risk.
TDP MLAs discussed about the future course of action in view of the state government’s alleged adamant stand on announcing a bigger package to farmers whose crops were damaged due to the recent heavy rains.
They discussed the date to hold ”Rythu Garjana” in Guntur before the end of this month and on the bus yatra to console the families of the farmers who had committed suicide unable to bear the loss of their crops which were ready for harvest.
