New Delhi: Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh chief Prakash Ambedkar, who had called for a bandh which brought life in Mumbai and elsewhere in the state to a halt, warned that Dalits will continue their fight until the Maharashtra government does not arrest Sambhaji Bhide and Milind Ekbote for violence in Bhima Koregaon.
Prakash, the grandson of BR Ambedkar declared the politics promoted by RSS and BJP as dangerous for the country. “The politics of religion can become uncontrollable if it is not checked and it can give rise to many Hafiz Saeeds among the Hindus”, he said.
Denying the accusation of getting support of Naxalites to make the Maharashtra bandh a success, Prakash Ambedkar pointed out that Supreme Court’s former judge BV Savant has also supported the bandh does it mean that former judge is also in support of Naxalites.
He said hitherto the communal forces were alive by creating hatred against Muslims now Dalits have become their target. Ambedkar warned that saffron forces want to make India a failed democracy but we won’t let that happen. He said Dalits are not fools they understand everything.
