Meerut, May 19: A muslim cleric has advocated that marriages should be performed with simplicity.
“Islam like marriages performed with simplicity,” Islamic scholar Zenur Rasheddin said yesterday during his visit to a mosque here.
He also asked Muslims to actively take part in the census exercise which began in the district yesterday.
“Muslims should co-operate and divulge true information during census,” he said.
