Modi in Delhi to consult lawyers?

New Delhi, April 28: Suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi arrived in the city today amid speculation that he is set to take legal action against the BCCI for ousting him for alleged financial bungling.

Modi landed in the capital and had to jostle hard to get out of the airport as waiting media persons blocked his way.

Although the exact reasons for his sudden visit to the city are not known, there is speculation that he is here to meet his lawyers.

The embattled administrator, who has been given 15 days’ time by the BCCI to respond to charges of rigging bids, taking kickbacks for TV and internet rights deals and behavioural problems, looked agitated as he tried to find his way to a waiting car outside the airport exit.

With mikes surrounding him, Modi merely stated, “nothing, nothing” at first before losing his cool.
