Modi and Amit Shah to campaign in Telangana: Dattatreya

Hyderabad: BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah and 20 union ministers will campaign in Telangana Assembly elections to be held on December 7.

Speaking on the occasion of release of BJP Manifesto here on Sunday, Dattatreyya said that PM Modi, Amit Shah and other leaders would address several public meeting across the Telangana. He alleged that the TRS Government had indulged in huge irregularities in the name of the projects. With no achievements to boast off, he said TRS was trying to incite regional sentiments to win elections. He strongly criticised the TRS Government for neglecting the development of temples.

Dattatreyya also slammed TJS President Prof. M. Kodandaram for joining the Congress-led People’s Front. He said Kondandaram was supporting the same Congress party which delayed the formation of Telangana leading several youth and students to suicide. He said that the promises being made by the Congress and TRS were hollow and could not be implemented.

When asked for reaction on the tussle between AP Government and CBI, Dattatreyya alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister was behaving undemocratically in an irresponsible manner.
