New Delhi: Addressing a meeting after being elected unopposed as president Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, raised Alwar issue and strongly condemned the mob lynching. He said mob violence is not a community issue but is a political one and can be solved politically. All the political parties which call themselves as secular must come forward and take practical measures for making legislation against it. Just condemning it is not sufficient, he said.
Maulana Arshad Madani told this in a key meeting held at the office of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, Mufti Kifayatullah Meeting Hall, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. During the meeting, the leaders expressed concern over the prevailing situation and also discussed other community and social issues.
