Hyderabad, November 14: The Minister for Sports, Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, on Sunday expressed dissatisfaction over the poor arrangements and facilities made for the visitors at Uppal Cricket Stadium where the India-New Zealand second cricket Test match was going on.
After inspecting the facilities being provided at the stadium, the minister expressed displeasure over the poor facilities for the visitors who came from all parts of the State to watch the match. He also directed the management of the stadium to make biscuit packets, water bottles, cool drinks and other food items available at the stadium at MRP rates. Mr Komatireddy also felt that no inconvenience should be caused to the visitors. It was the responsibility of the stadium management to provide necessary facilities to the visitors, he added. (NSS)
