Hyderabad: Minority Welfare Department has granted permission to various parties and organisations to hold Jalsa Yaumul Quran at Historical Makkah Masjid on four Fridays falling during the Holy month of Ramadan. As per orders issued by department the first and the last Fridays that fall on 2nd and 23rd June have been allotted to All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) while, the 2nd and the 3rd Fridays that fall on 9th and 16th June have been allotted to Sunni Ulama Board and Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) respectively.
The conditions issued by the Secretary Minority Welfare include fixing of timings for 2 hours, use of two box type speakers inside Masjid premises and not using the meeting for political purpose since the month of Ramadan is a religious month.
Director Minority Welfare has requested Deputy Commissioner of Police South Zone to make necessary arrangements in this regard.
It must be recalled that a member of TRS A S Rao had requested to allot him 3rd Friday. Secretary Minority Welfare forwarded his request to police department However, no report is said have been submitted by the police.
