Pak’s parliamentary body discuses legal strategy in Jadhav’s case

Islamabad [Pakistan]: Pakistan’s Parliamentary Committee on National Security on Tuesday met to discuss the country’s legal strategy regarding alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav’s ongoing case in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf, National Security Advisor Nasir Janjua, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Secretary Foreign Affairs Tehmina Janjua briefed the committee about Pakistan’s legal strategy about alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case in a closed-door meeting, reports the Dawn.

The meeting was chaired by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.

Speaker Sadiq informed that Attorney General Ausaf will lead Pakistan’s legal team, scheduled to leave for The Hague on June 5.

He added that the legal team will meet the president of the ICJ on June 8. (ANI)
