Amsterdam : Microsoft has launched an update for its Cortana for android that removed its ‘Hey Cortana’ detection feature.
According to The Next Web, it is reported that some users have experienced problems upon activating the feature including malfunctioning microphones across apps and breaking Google’s own feature which lead the company to simply remove it from the US market in its latest build on the Play Store
Earlier, the users could say ‘Hey Cortana’ to launch the voice assistant from within any app, successfully serving as a replacement for the ‘OK Google’ feature on most Android phones. The company released this feature only a couple of weeks ago. (ANI)
