The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad, a secular, co-educational, day and boarding school for students in grades I to XII hosted a mega sporting event at its 100-acre campus in Shamshabad on Friday and will continue on Saturday.
The sporting event kicked off with an inauguration ceremony at 9.30am on Friday. The Tournament features football, basketball and cricket competitions for girls and boys in under-18 and under-15 categories. It will conclude with distribution of certificates and a closing ceremony on Saturday at 2.20pm.
The 4th Interschool Sports Tournament has over 600 students representing 15 participating schools: Army Public School; Silver Oaks; Oakridge International School; Meridian School; Delhi Public School Khaja Guda and Nacharam campuses; Samasthi International School; Glendale Academy; Hyderabad Public School Ramantapur; GMR Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Shamshabad; Sreenidhi international School; Indus International School; Chirec Public School; Diamond Jubilee High School; the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad.
