Mumbai: Almost all engineering graduates aim to get a job in multinational companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc. However, only a few could be able to get it. 21-year-old Abdullah Khan is one among them.
According to the report published in Business Today, Abdullah belongs to Mumbai. He got success in getting a job in Google despite not possessing a degree from IITs.
Google, London has offered a package of Rs. 1.2 crore to him. He is a student of BE final year studying in Shree LR Tiwari Engineering College, Maharashtra. Till 12th class, he studied in Saudi Arabia.
It may be mentioned that the job was offered to him based on his profile on a programming site. The company had offered him the job after seeing his profile on the site. After clearing online interviews, he had attended the final screening at Google office in London this month.
His package includes salary of Rs. 54.5 lakh per annum, 15% bonus and stock options.
It may be noted that the average salary of a non-IIT engineer is Rs. 4 lakh per annum.
Expressing his views, Abdullah said that he used to participate in online programming competition for fun and he did not expect this offer.
