Bhopal: A doctor, Anand Rai on Wednesday claimed that this year’s entrance test papers of All India Institute of Medical Sciences got leaked.
With his claim, the AIIMS administration came into action and ordered an investigation into the matter, according to a report by DH.
The entrance exam was conducted on May 28. Anand Rai via his tweets shared the snapshots of the question papers and told that one of his sources had sent those images to him. Also, he informed that it was leaked during the examination was being conducted in M C Saxena College in Lucknow, as per his sources.
“The administration of AIIMS, New Delhi, has taken cognizance of media reports of screen shots of a computer screen that are being circulated in the social media. AIIMS takes these reports very seriously and has constituted a committee to inquire into the matter,” the premier medical college stated.
The committee will look into the matter “immediately and submit a report “at the earliest,” it said. “AIIMS administration is also in contact with the Government investigation agencies in this regard. An immediate and further necessary action shall be taken once the facts are ascertained,” it added.
Rai also demanded a probe into the case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), he had tagged the Prime Minister’s Office in his tweet.
“I urge the Prime Minister and the AIIMS director to ask the CBI to probe the matter,” he said. In his Facebook page, Rai has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure justice for “meritorious and hardworking” students who suffer because of such “mafias”.
“Being a doctor myself, it fills my heart with sorrow seeing the hardworking and meritorious students suffer like this because of the mafias who are continuously
attempting to snatch away their hard work,” he said.
