Kolkata, May 13: Maoists today gave a 24-hour bandh call in West Midnapore district tomorrow to protest against non-production of an alleged cadre before court even three days after her arrest.
Maoist spokesman Akash told PTI from an undisclosed location that “Soma, a cadre from Jhargram, had been arrested three days ago but was not produced before a court”.
He alleged that police had been targeting the innocent suspecting them of having links with Maoists and demanded their immediate release.
