After keeping them on a long wait, the Andhra Pradesh government tonight finally promoted several Indian Police Service officers to the ranks of Inspectors General and Deputy Inspectors General of Police and gave them new postings in a reshuffle involving 19 officers.
P V Sushil Kumar (1993 batch), who has been waiting for a posting, has been made the IGP of AP Special Protection Force.
