Man threatening to blast Parliament building held

Patna, May 19: A man, who had allegedly called up the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Monday and threatened to blow up Parliament building, was taken into custody in Bihar’s Siwan district.

“We took Kirti Singh into custody from a place in Mairwa police station yesterday for interrogation”, Superintendent of Police, Siwan, Amrit Raj said today.

Kirti had allegedly made the call from Devariya in UP and then from Mairwa in Siwan district of Bihar.

A police team from UP had been called to Mairwa to interrogate Kirti and take him back on Dewariya on remand.
