Jaipur, September 02: In a major administrative reshuffle, 48 IAS officers and two state administrative service RAS officers have been transferred in Rajasthan effecting change of Divisional Commissioner in four divisions and District Collector in 16 of the 33 districts.
As per the transfer orders issued late last night, P K Dev
has been made Additional Chief Secretary(Home) whereas Asha Singh, an officer of the same grade, has been posted as Development Commissioner.
Both the Divisional Commissioner and the District Collector
of Jaipur have also been changed. Now, R P Jain will be the new Divisional Commissioner and Navin Mahajan the new Collector in the state capital.
Likewise, Pritam Singh has been posted as Divisional Commissioner in Kota, Rajeshwar Singh and Surajmal on the same post in Bikaner and Bharatpur respectively.
Pradeep Sen is new Chairman in the Rajasthan State Road
Transport Corporation and Manjit Singh will work as Managing Director with him.
Akhil Arora has been posted as Managing Director Jaipur
Metro Corporation.
RAS officers LC Aswal and Ram Niwas Meena have been made
Chief Executive Officer Jaipur Municipal Corporation and Director Local Bodies respectively.
