Hyderabad: Fee Hike in schools has been worrying parents in Telangana and now the Telangana education department has issued a clarification of the same ensuring no fee hike is allowed to schools for this academic year 2018-19.
The department has directed the schools to “maintain status quo” and continue to maintain the same they had charged in the 2017-18 academic year until the department comes to a decision on implementing Prof Tirupati Rao’s committee recommendations.
The schools have already begun circulating their enhanced Fee structure for this academic year after the committee had submitted its report which was brought to the notice of special chief secretary Ranjeev R Acharya and minister KT Rama Rao by the Hyderabad Schools Parents Association (HSPA), reported Hans.
