Maharashtra Govt. appoints A N Roy as DGP

Mumbai, Janaury 22: The Maharashtra government has brought back the former DGP A N Roy once again at the incumbent as he was shunted out after the Mumbai terror attacks on 26/11. The decision has come out after his name has been recommended by the home ministry of the state.

R R Patil, Home Minister of the state has covered his place as he also quit the ministry after the attacks happened. The return of same team has revealed that the political decisions are more important than morality as those were held responsible for their laxity in the duty.

Roy served as Commissioner of Mumbai Police before appointed as the Director General of Police of the state and blessed again for the same.
