Hyderabad: TRS leadership today took a serious exception to the Opposition jibe against the TRS manifesto.
Addressing the media here today, Suman accused the Congress leaders of losing mental balance on the TRS manifesto released by party supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. “Our manifesto has sent shockwaves to the Congress and Mahakootami constituents, who were resorting to make false charges”, he said.
Suman ridiculed the Congress for stating that the TRS copied their manifesto. There was no meaning in the criticism being made by the Opposition parties that the TRS has copied the Congress manifesto which was not released yet. The Opposition parties’ leaders were fighting at Gandhi Bhavan during inconclusive meetings on manifesto, seat sharing and making false charges.
“The Congress nominees should not get deposits as it will help the Assembly to function in a proper way. He also flayed the Congress for stating that the TRS had no role in achieving statehood. “We will send photos of the TRS participation in the statehood movement to Gandhi Bhavan for clarity”, Suman said. He also suggested to the Congress to abstain from scolding the ruling party leaders.
Suman also dubbed the Mahakootami of the power hungry Opposition parties as a stitched bed-sheet of small pieces of cloth. TJS chief Prof. Kodandaram, who was moving in the Congress direction should tell whether he is for working for Telangana development or destruction. Denying as baseless the reports of G Vivek switching to the Congress, Suman said it was creation of the media. “People are happy with the TRS manifesto and Rs 3016 unemployed allowance is a great reprieve to thousands of youth participated in statehood movement. Being a farmer’s son, KCR has announced Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver and several other sops to people”, he added.
