Kuntia, Uttam confer with AICC leaders on seats sharing

Hyderabad: Telangana state Congress party affairs in-charge RC Kuntia has stated that the progress in Maha Kootami discussions was good. Kuntia and TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy have a meeting with party senior leaders—Gulam Nabi Azad, AK Antony today here. On this occasion, Kuntia and Uttam have discussed with party senior leaders on Maha Kootami and seat adjustment. They were also brought the issues discussed with the leaders of TDP, CPI and TJS to the notice of party senior leaders.

Later speaking to the media, Kuntia said that the discussions were going on in positive note. The seat adjustment among the Maha Kootami parties will come to a conclusion very soon. He suggested the party cadre not to believe in the rumors spreading in regard to the seat adjustment between Congress party and TJS. He said that they discussed with TJS Chief Prof M Kodandaram for three times. He said that the seat adjustment exercise will be completed by this month ending.

He also said that AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi will visit the State on October 20 and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will visit the State very soon. He said that the party will do justice to the party candidates as two to three strong candidates were competing for the party ticket. He said that the party leaders, who didn’t get ticket, not to get disappointed and the party will give positions within the party and in the government after the party coming to power.
