New Delhi, December 18: TDP and Congress members created uproar in the Lok Sabha today during Question Hour over the demand for Telangana state and some other issues, leading to its adjournment for nearly 40 minutes.
As soon as Speaker Meira Kumar completed some obituary references, TDP members walked into the well with placards saying, “We want United AP” and raised slogans.
The fissures in the Congress on the issue was visible today as well with one section of MPs from Andhra Pradesh raising slogans in favour of Telangana and another group expressing support for a united Andhra Pradesh.
The pro-Telangana Congress members tried to walk towards the well but were restrained by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and later by his deputy V Narayanasamy.
Later, S K Bwiswmuthiary (BPF), joined TDP members in the well demanding separate Bodoland.
