Patna, Jun 18: LJP president Ramvilas Paswan today said here his party will not snap ties with RJD for forming an electoral alliance with Congress.
“We know that Congress is averse to an alliance with RJD … But we have made it clear that our alliance with RJD will remain intact,” he told newsmen, a day after being elected to Rajya Sabha.
The RJD-LJP alliance is so strong that it will pave the way for ouster of the NDA government in Bihar, he claimed.
Paswan said he would launch a joint campaign with Lalu Prasad Yadav for Bihar assembly elections, scheduled for later this year.
Referring to his win in the Rajya Sabha polls yesterday, Paswan said it was a victory for both RJD and LJP.
