Limited edition Mont Blanc pen with Gandhi as theme

New Delhi, September 29: Mahatma Gandhi’s iconic Dandi march in 1930 against the British salt tax has inspired classic pen makers Mont Blanc to come out with a limited series pen on the Father of the Nation.

But the pen can burn a hole in your pocket as it is priced at about Rs 14 lakh, according to a watch retailer in a five-star hotel.

While Gandhi lived his life using both sides of paper to write using a normal pen, the ‘Mahatma Gandhi Limited Edition 241’ comes with a gold wire emtwined by hand around middle of each pen, which “evokes the roughly-wound yarn on the spindle with which Gandhi spun everyday for half an hour, regardless of where he was or whom he was talking to.
