Leopard injuring IAF personnel caught

Jalpaiguri: A leopard, which had attacked an Indian Air Force (IAF) official at Hasimara airbase, was caught this morning by the forest department officials and later released into its habitat.

The beast had attacked the IAF personnel on March 30 and left him injured. He had sustained slight injuries on left thumb and paw marks on left thigh.

It took forest officials three days to nab the beast from the airbase. The airbase is located in close proximity to two airbases.

Two adult wild leopards were caught on successive nights at Hasimara Air Base in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. (ANI)
