Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today alleged that the Opposition parties were unable to digest the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who initiated various welfare schemes for the poor in the country.
Laxman was speaking after felicitating Kanna Lakshminarayana, who was recently appointed AP BJP State party president. The people are extending their support to Modi government wherever and whenever elections are taking place, he added. Laxman criticized the Congress which was targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi by taking his caste name. He took strong objection to the comment of Congress leader Jaipal Reddy. He also accused the TRS government of not fulfilling election promises.
Kanna Lakshminarayana, who also attended the OBC Morcha State executive meeting at party office here, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was capable of taking tough decisions to protect interest of the country. He called upon the BCs in the country to remain united and support Modi government. (NSS)
