Hyderabad: According to a recent media release, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) is all set to host this year’s Bharat Scouts and Guides Rajyapuraskar, five-days testing camp starting from 18 July to 22 July.
The camp is expected to welcome around 620 scouts and guides from the three states, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka who on qualifying would be selected for the next level the Pre-Rashtrapati Testing Camp.
The participants in this camp will be trained and also tested in various activities like hiking, tent-pitching, first-aid, pioneering, hitches, knots etc.
The camp will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner D. Manivannan, KVS, Hyderabad Region and Divisional Commissioner, KVS State, while J.S.V Lakshmi Assistant Deputy Divisional, KVS State will be the chief co-ordinator. Assistant Commissioners Manjunath and B. Padmavati and other officials of the KVS, Hyderabad Region will also be present at the inaugural.
K. C Ramasubramanien is the Testing official of the camp and A.G. Pandian and Archana Srivastava will be the Leaders of the camp while A. Siddaramulu, Principal, KV ODF has been appointed to organize the camp along with R. Latha in-Charge Principal of the Venue School.
