Kuntia asks KCR if Telangana State formed with two TRS MPs

Hyderabad: Stating that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had conceded Telangana State, AICC leader in-charge of party affairs in Telangana RC Kuntia has questioned caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao whether the new State was formed with two TRS MPs. He claimed that Sonia Gandhi was moved with the sacrifices of youth and students for separate Telangana State and granted separate Telangana State.

Addressing a gathering at Musheerabad constituency here on Sunday, as part of a door-to-door campaigning, Kuntia asked KCR as to why he dissolved the Assembly nine months ahead of five year term. Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA government’s graph was declining day after day, Kuntia said AICC chief Rahul Gandhi’s popularity was increasing. He also alleged that KCR entered into a secret agreement with Narendra Modi on early elections and joined hands with the MIM and BJP.

Leader of the Opposition in the Council Shabbir Ali said the Congress alone developed Hyderabad city in all aspects. AICC secretary Bose Raju said the Congress would appoint separate manifesto sub-committee for Greater Hyderabad. He said the ‘padayatra’ will go on in 15 constituencies across Hyderabad city.

Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee chief Anjan Kumar Yadav reminded Congress party accorded separate Telangana State. He said AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi obstructed the Telangana Bill even though all political parties extended their support, but unfortunately the TRS joined hands with the MIM party.
