IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao today exhorted Telangana NRIs to partner with the development of the youngest State.
Speaking at a conference of Telangana NRIs at Jurich as part of his foreign tour, KTR appealed to the former to contribute to the government’s efforts for achieving golden Telangana. Describing NRIs as brand ambassadors of the Telangana State, KTR asked them to invest in the State which was making rapid strides and ideal in various sectors.
Enumerating flagship programs and welfare schemes, the IT Minister claimed that Telangana has emerged as No 1 in the Ease of Doing Business and made significant growth in IT, industries, pharma, health care, welfare, infrastructure and others. With hassle-free policies, the State government was surpassing others in the country, he said.
Though several States formed 15 years ago are still to witness development, the youngest State was doing its best, he said. “Our journey has started to move on the growth path to fulfill the aspirations of the people”, KTR stated. He also said KCR was steering the State towards Golden Telangana by achieving the target of inclusive growth and all-round development.
KTR replied to several queries in the program conducted by G Sridhar, A Krishna Reddy, J Anil and T Kishore. Telugu people from Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland attended the meeting. (NSS)
