KTR surprise inspection of civic amenities in Hyderabad

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao carried out a surprise inspection of roads and other civic amenities in the city, on Tuesday midnight.

           

Minister has taken a decision to carry out this inspection at midnight to avoid inconvenience to the citizens.

           

Minister KTR has inspected amenities like roads, bus shelters, drainage system and ongoing works. After examining the roads and civic amenities at various places, Minister has expressed severe

dissatisfaction about the lapses in maintaining them. He instructed the officials to take up repair works and complete pending works immediately.

           

Minister also expressed his displeasure over the poor coordination between various state and central government agencies.

           

Minister directed the officials to double the work force so that the pending works Kukatpalli – Usha Mullapudi lane are completed at the earliest. Minster asked officials to ensure proper maintenance of basic amenities like roads, bus shelters, footpaths, and sewerage facilities in the city.

            During the surprise inspection, Minister interacted with local residents and sought to know the various issues in their locality. He assured the people that the government would take all possible steps to alleviate the various issues reported by them. Minister said that he will continue his surprise inspections in the city.
